DUBOIS – The Lady Beavers of DuBois handed the Clearfield girls its fifth straight loss on Tuesday night in DuBois, 43-31.
DuBois owned all but the fourth period against the Lady Bison, taking a 22-13 edge into halftime.
The Lady Beavers then had a 14-10 third period advantage to lead by 13, at 36-23, heading into the final eight minutes.
Tesa Miller led Clearfield with 11 points while Abby Guiher had 14 tallies, including four three-pointers, to lead the Lady Beavers.
The junior varsity battle was also won by DuBois, defeating the Lady Bison by a score of 48-20. Riley Ryen had six points for Clearfield.
Clearfield (2-10) is on the road once again on Wednesday night with a road trip to Bellefonte in Mountain League action. The JV game starts at 6 pm with the varsity contest to immediately follow.
