DUBOIS – The Greater DuBois Chamber of Commerce is pleased to introduce its spring intern, Addeson McAninch. She will work alongside the Chamber’s staff until the end of April.
According to information provided by the Chamber, McAninch grew up in DuBois and currently resides there. She’s a 2016 graduate of the DuBois Area High School.
She’s finishing her final semester at Penn State DuBois from which she’ll earn a Bachelor’s degree in business administration with a focus on management and marketing.
After starting out at PSU DuBois as a biology Student, McAninch quickly switched her career path to business with her passion being social marketing.
According to Chamber information, McAninch aspires to use marketing as a tool to educate others on various social issues around the world.
She serves as treasurer of the Business Society and vice president of Delta Mu Sigma Honor Society at PSU DuBois. She also works part-time at the locally-owned DuBois Drug and Wellness store.
In her spare time, McAninch enjoys spending time with family. They all enjoy boating, playing tennis and attending Penn State wrestling matches.
Her family also enjoys New York City and their most recent visit was in December. Several well-known spots, like the Rockefeller Tree and Union Square Holiday Market, were on their bucket list.
McAninch is excited to be the newest member of the Chamber staff, and looks forward to building career opportunities and creating business connections.
Upon her May graduation from Penn State DuBois, she would like to find an employment opportunity in the DuBois or surrounding area.
