CLEARFIELD – Kenn Starr, owner of Starr Hill Vineyard and Winery, recently presented a $540 donation to Main Street Manager Loretta Wagner of the Clearfield Revitalization Corp.
The funds were raised through sales of the Clearfield wine. Starr Hill donates $1 to the CRC for each bottle sold; each year the winery and CRC create a new label to represent Clearfield.
Additionally, the Clearfield wine is debuted in February at the annual Groundhog Wine Festival. Afterwards, it’s made available at local Starr Hill stores.
“Starr Hill … has helped showcase Clearfield, and contributes to our revitalization efforts,” said Wagner. “We’re extremely grateful for their partnership.”
Starr said the winery takes part in events statewide, and receives many great comments about Clearfield. He said he looks forward to continuing to contribute to the CRC and its efforts.
