DUBOIS – Hosted by the Northern Appalachian Film Collective (NAFCo), a dinner and movie night will be held Jan. 10, beginning at 6 p.m. at the DuBois Diner.
The event will take place upstairs at the diner, which is located at 50 W. Dubois Ave., # D, DuBois. The featured filmmaker will be Michael Gafner of Warren, Pa.
Gafner will present several of his recent short films, discuss their production and take audience questions. The mixer will begin at 6 p.m., and dinner at 6:30 p.m.; the film session will begin at 7:30 p.m.
There isn’t any charge to attend, except for the cost of dinner. Donations will be accepted to benefit NAFCo, a non-profit based in DuBois to promote filmmaking in the Northern Appalachian region.
