State police at DuBois
- State police received a report about a lost or missing firearm on Monday. According to state police, a Winchester 30/30 lever action rifle was lost in its black hard case between Dollar General in Penfield and Platt Road in DuBois. The firearm had a wood stock and 3X9 scope with a leather strap. Anyone with information is asked to contact state police at 814-371-4652.
Clearfield Borough
- Police arrested a male on an active warrant through the Clearfield County Sheriff’s Office after he was stopped along U.S. Route 322.
- Police received a report about an incident of criminal mischief that occurred in the 200 block of East Walnut Street. During the incident, someone allegedly slashed a tire on the victim’s vehicle.
- Police reported that charges are currently pending against a female who allegedly assaulted a probation officer at the Clearfield County Courthouse. She was subsequently housed in county jail.
- Police received a complaint in reference to a bad check.
Lawrence Township
- Police reported a DUI crash occurred Sunday in the area of Mount Joy and Goshen roads, Clearfield. According to police, a Ford Ranger driven by a 56-year-old Clearfield man was traveling uphill and lost traction while he was negotiating a curve. He reportedly lost control and struck an embankment, causing his truck to overturn. No injuries were reported, police said; however, the man was determined to be under the influence of alcohol. He was released to the care of a family member; charges are currently pending at this time.
- Police were requested to assist Clearfield County Adult Probation with locating a 48-year-old Grassflat woman, identified as Marisa Moslak, at a Montgomery Run Road address. According to police, contact was made with Moslak, and she was found to be under the influence. A search of the residence allegedly located methamphetamine, marijuana and drug paraphernalia. Moslak was subsequently housed in county jail, and charges were filed through the district court.
Sandy Township
- On Nov. 23, police were contacted by an East Maloney Road resident who alleged that earlier this month, someone took two, different FedEx packages from her front porch. The packages, police said, were valued at $168.
- On Nov. 23, police received a report about a male and female struggling over the female’s purse in the area of Chestnut Avenue. According to police, the couple left in separate directions but were found and said it wasn’t a physical altercation. Both said it was an argument over the male’s cigarettes being in the female’s purse.  Police handled the situation without further incident.
- On Nov. 23, police received a report about kids riding motorcycles and a golf cart on Treasure Lake roads. When approached by Treasure Lake Security, they fled around a locked gate at the end of Devil’s Cay Court. Security personnel were able to catch up to three 13-year-olds and when officers arrived on-scene, they contacted their parents.
- Police received a report about a domestic disturbance Nov. 23 at a Hanes Drive residence. Upon arrival, officers learned the call was placed by a third-party in Reynoldsville when her 26-year-old daughter contacted her regarding a shouting match at the apartment. Officers handled the situation without incident.
- On Nov. 24, police were contacted by a 56-year-old Fire Tower Road man who alleged that his single-axle utility trailer was taken from his property. The investigation is ongoing at this time.
- On Nov. 24, police were contacted by a 46-year-old man who reported that he received a harassing phone call from a restricted number.
- Police responded to a reported motor vehicle crash Nov. 24 on Bay Road in Treasure Lake. According to police, a 17-year-old boy lost control of his vehicle, causing it to travel over an embankment on Harbor View Road. No injuries occurred as a result of the crash.
- On Nov. 24, police were contacted by a Circle Road resident who reported that his neighbor left their dog out in the cold for approximately two hours. Shortly after, he called back saying the dog had been taken inside.
- On Nov. 24, police reported that employees located a wallet in the dining room of the Wendy’s restaurant.
- On Nov. 25, police were contacted by a Treasure Lake resident who reported that when she arrived home, she discovered her front door was open and she was afraid someone was inside. Upon arrival, officers determined everything was OK, and believed the door wasn’t secured tightly.
