CLEARFIELD – A Clearfield couple is facing felony charges for allegedly producing and possessing child pornography, according to a news release issued by the Clearfield Borough Police Department.
Jackson Curtis Martin III, 44, is charged by Sgt. Daniel Podliski with rape of child; statutory sexual assault-11 years older; aggravated indecent assault of child; dissemination photo/film of child sex acts (five counts); photograph/film/depict on computer sex act-knowingly or permitting child (three counts); child pornography (1,700 counts); sexual exploitation of children offense defined; indecent assault person less than 13 years (three counts); photograph/film/depict on computer sex act (148 counts); criminal use of communication facility (three counts) and endangering the welfare of children, all felonies.
Amanda Nichelle Downs, 28, of Clearfield is also charged with rape of child; statutory sexual assault-11 years older; aggravated indecent assault of child; photograph/film/depict on computer sex act (148 counts); dissemination photo/film of child sex acts; photograph/film/depict on computer sex act-knowingly or permitting child (three counts); child pornography (10 counts); sexual exploitation of children offense defined; indecent assault-person less than 13 years (three counts); criminal use of communication facility; and endangering the welfare of children, all felonies.
Martin and Downs were arraigned at 9 a.m. Monday, and incarcerated in Clearfield County Jail with bail having been denied. Both are currently scheduled to appear for preliminary hearings at 10 a.m. Dec. 4 during centralized court at the Jail.
