State police at Clearfield

• State police received a report about an incident of disorderly conduct that occurred Oct. 27 on Back Street in Covington Township. According to state police, there was a large gathering that resulted in a 19-year-old Frenchville man being cited for disorderly conduct through the district court.
• State police received a report about an incident of harassment that occurred Oct. 26 on Empire Road in Morris Township. During the incident, a 72-year-old Philipsburg man became upset with a 72-year-old woman and struck her in the face. He was charged for the incident through the district court.
• State police received a report about an incident of criminal mischief that occurred Tuesday on Jacks Lane in Decatur Township. According to state police, a 36-year-old West Decatur man drove through an Osceola Mills man’s yard after a 41-year-old Philipsburg woman blocked the roadway. Troopers obtained footage of the incident from a nearby surveillance system, and observed $100 worth of damage to the yard. State police cited the West Decatur man for criminal mischief and the Philipsburg woman for disorderly conduct through the district court.

State police at Punxsutawney

• State police received a report about an incident of harassment that occurred Monday on Ridge Road in Bell Township. During the incident, a male suspect allegedly verbally harassed and physical struck a female victim. The male wasn’t there upon the trooper’s arrival on-scene. Injuries were neither observed nor reported as a result, and the investigation is ongoing at this time.

Clearfield Borough

• Police conducted a traffic stop that resulted in a DUI on South Fourth Street. According to police, the driver was under the influence of alcohol, and taken to the hospital for a legal blood draw. He was later released to a sober adult; charges are currently pending at this time.
• Lawrence Township police were assisted with a traffic stop. According to police, one male was arrested for DUI. Borough officers also transported a female to the Clearfield County Jail on a warrant.
• Police reported that a golden-colored hearing aid was found in front of Bob’s Army & Navy on East Market Street.   The owner may claim the hearing aid at the Clearfield Borough police station.
• Police assisted emergency personnel on South Sixth Street. According to police, an elderly male fell inside his residence.  He was subsequently transported to Penn Highlands Hospital for evaluation.

Lawrence Township

• Police reported that a DUI resulted in a warrant service Nov. 3 in the area of Woodland Road and East 14^th Street in Clearfield. According to police, a vehicle driven by 59-year-old Mary Jo Kennedy of Clearfield was stopped for having an expired registration. Contact was made with Kennedy, who was found to have a warrant through the Clearfield County Sheriff’s Office and Clearfield Borough police. She was also allegedly found to be under the influence of alcohol. Kennedy was housed in county jail on the warrants; charges are currently pending for DUI and disorderly conduct.
• Police reported a drug-related DUI occurred Wednesday at the Wal-Mart Supercenter in Clearfield. According to police, it was found the driver was under the influence and in possession of a controlled substance and paraphernalia. A subsequent search of the vehicle turned up additional drug paraphernalia. Police transported the passenger to county jail on a probation violation. Charges are currently pending against both individuals.

Sandy Township

• Police responded to a report of a two-vehicle collision Monday on Blinker Parkway. According to police, it involved a vehicle driven by a 30-year-old Reynoldsville woman and a vehicle driven by a 26-year-old Reynoldsville man. Police say the man lost consciousness after the collision, and was given Narcan before being taken to the hospital where he refused blood tests. The woman was also transported to Penn Highlands DuBois for treatment.  Both vehicles were towed from the scene.
• On Monday police were contacted by a 72-year-old Indian Hills woman who reported she found drug paraphernalia inside her home.
• Police received a report about a suspicious 30-year-old Dubois man in the parking lot of the Blinker Sheetz. Officers located the man in his vehicle and he stated he was stranded there because his battery was dead.  Police handled the situation without incident.
• Police received a report about an altercation Monday at a Circle Road residence. During the incident, a 25-year-old man allegedly engaged in a physical altercation with his sister’s boyfriend because he (the boyfriend) had been yelling at his sister. However, the boyfriend fled the scene prior to police arrival.
• Police responded to a reported false alarm Tuesday at a Treasure Lake residence.
• On Tuesday police received reports about several mailboxes and light fixtures that were damaged or destroyed in the area of Thunderbird Road and Kiwanis Trail in Treasure Lake. According to police, the suspects were tracked through social media posts and stopped near the parking lot of the Subway restaurant on Brady Street. Police say three suspects were juveniles, and taken to the police station; officers notified their parents of the reports. A fourth suspect, police say, was an 18-year-old DuBois man who was released to a relative. Charges are currently pending at this time; anyone whose property was damaged is asked to contact police at 814-371-4220 or at 814-765-1533.
• Police received a report about an incident of harassment Tuesday. According to police, a 40-year-old Treasure Lake man said his 25-year-old estranged girlfriend has been continually calling and texting him all hours of the day and night. Police handled the situation without incident.

DuBois City

• Police received a report about a disabled vehicle Monday in the 700 block of Maple Avenue. The vehicle was removed from the roadway until towing services could arrive at the scene.
• Police responded to a reported two-vehicle crash Monday in the area of Beaver Drive and Division Street. According to police, a Nissan Frontier was traveling east on Beaver Drive when its female driver failed to observe the stop sign at Division Street. The vehicle proceeded through the intersection, striking another vehicle. Both vehicles were towed from the scene.
• Police responded to a reported two-vehicle crash Monday in the area of DuBois Harley Davidson. According to police, brakes failed on a vehicle at the intersection of East DuBois Avenue and College Place. It subsequently struck a vehicle stopped for traffic. Minor damage was reported, and police assisted with the exchange of information.
• Police reported a vehicle struck a building Monday in the 100 block of North Main Street. According to police, the driver hit his gas pedal instead of his brake pedal. This caused his vehicle to travel over the curb and strike the building. No injuries were reported as a result, and the vehicle was towed from the scene.
• Police received a report about a disturbance Monday at Giant Eagle. According to police, a witness said a male was at the check-out yelling at cashiers over an issue. He reportedly disrupted the store, and was advised to calm down and speak to someone at the service desk. The witness said the male began to yell at her, and was asked to leave the store, which he did.
