State police at Punxsutawney
- State police received a report about an all-terrain vehicle crash that occurred shortly after 4 a.m. Sunday on Hunters Grove Road in Knox Township, Jefferson County. Upon arrival on-scene, troopers spoke briefly with the operator, a 22-year-old Brookville man, and he allegedly had a strong odor of alcohol emitting from him. He also admitted he’d consumed alcohol prior to hitting a deer and crashing his ATV. He said he was not wearing a helmet; however, his passenger was wearing one at the time of the crash.  Though the extent of their injuries is unknown, state police said both the man and his woman passenger were flown to Altoona for a medical evaluation.
State police at Ridgway
- State police received a report about a burglary that occurred sometime between Oct. 5 and Saturday on Boot Jack Road in Ridgway Township, Elk County. During the incident, someone allegedly took $600 cash, silver bars, a dime-sized Indian head gold coin and various jewelry items from the victims’ home. The investigation is continuing and anyone with information is asked to contact state police at 814-776-6136.
Lawrence Township
- Police conducted a traffic stop that resulted in a drug-related DUI Saturday in the parking lot of Sid’s Six Pack in Clearfield. Upon investigation, it was discovered a 30-year-old Clearfield man was allegedly under the influence of alcohol and a controlled substance. He was taken into custody, at which point police say he was found in possession of a small amount of marijuana. He was subsequently transported to the Clearfield Penn Highlands Hospital for a legal blood draw, and then housed in county jail to become sober. Charges are currently pending at this time.
- Police received a report about a domestic Saturday on Turnpike Avenue in Clearfield. According to police, a female said her ex was under the influence and wouldn’t leave the residence. Upon arrival, contact was made with both parties outside; the male was taken into custody and housed in county jail. Charges of trespassing, disorderly conduct and public drunkenness are currently pending at this time.
- Police received a report about drug paraphernalia that was found Sunday at a Clarendon Avenue residence. Upon arrival, it was found the items allegedly belonged to the caller’s juvenile daughter. Police spoke with her parent and a juvenile petition will be filed against the girl.
- Police received a report about a retail theft/trespassing incident that occurred Saturday at the Wal-Mart store in Clearfield. Upon investigation, it was found that a 19-year-old Clearfield woman allegedly took two pieces of body jewelry. Charges are currently pending for retail theft and trespassing.
- Police received a report about a retail theft incident that occurred Saturday at the Wal-Mart store in Clearfield. During the incident, a 27-year-old Clearfield man allegedly opened and used eye drops in the pharmacy department; afterwards, he placed the drops back on the shelf outside of the packaging and unsealed. Police say he proceeded to purchase a different brand of eye drops with other items. A citation for retail theft is currently pending at this time.
DuBois City
- Police conducted a traffic stop Friday on Liberty Boulevard. During the stop, contact was made with a 31-year-old Rockton man and a 34-year-old Big Run man, at which point a controlled substance and paraphernalia were allegedly located in their possession. Charges are currently pending against both men at this time.
- Police received a report about a hit-and-run Saturday in the 100 block of Robinson Street. According to police, a vehicle struck a male’s vehicle, then fled via Quarry Avenue. He was unable to provide a physical description of the suspect vehicle. Anyone with information is asked to contact police.
- Police received a report about a theft Saturday in the 200 block of Morrison Street. According to police, the victim provided a description of the stolen property and suspect information. Contact was subsequently made with two individuals who admitted to the theft. Police say the property was returned to the victim who declined to file charges.
