State police at Clearfield
- State police received a report about an incident of criminal mischief that occurred sometime between Oct. 1 and Monday in the area of Cooper and Irvin Park roads in Curwensville Borough. During the incident, someone allegedly broke the door to a concession stand; then, they fled the scene. Anyone with information is asked to contact state police at 814-857-3800.
State police at Ridgway
- A Pennsylvania State Police fire marshal investigated a structure fire Friday at 19 N. Jared St., in DuBois City. According to state police, a home caught fire at 3 p.m., and it was found to be accidental in nature. No injuries were reported as a result of the fire; damage was estimated at $80,000.
Lawrence Township
- Police conducted a traffic stop that resulted in a DUI Tuesday on the Clearfield-Woodland Highway. According to the report, a vehicle was stopped due to having a suspended registration for insurance cancellation. Upon further investigation, the female driver was allegedly found to be under the influence. She was later housed in Clearfield County Jail, and is facing charges for the incident.
