Stephanie Errigo has announced she is running for Clearfield Borough Council as a write-in candidate in the First Ward.
As a more recent move to Clearfield, Errigo was born and raised in Curwensville, and has been involved heavily in the local community throughout her life.
She was a former member of the Curwensville Area School Board for three years before resigning to move to Clearfield.
Errigo works full-time as an elementary school counselor in the Dubois Area School District at Juniata Elementary. She loves inspiring her students and helping them in any way that she can.
Locally, she is a summer employee of the Clearfield County Area Agency on Aging (CCAAA) as well as a hip-hop instructor year-round at the Clearfield YMCA.
Errigo volunteers with the Lawrence Township Volunteer Fire Co. No. 1, as well the St. Francis Church where she teaches middle school Faith Formation with her fiancé.
She is also a licensed auctioneer who performs many local charity auctions such as the Anne S. Thacik Auction that is held by the CCAAA every year to raise money for the area’s aging population.
Errigo is hoping to gain a greater sense and fulfill her mission of always helping others by serving as the next borough council member in the First Ward.
She is always willing to hear both sides and make the best decision for the community. She supports local organizations and believes that volunteering is very rewarding to those being served as well as those serving.
Errigo looks forward to making Clearfield her lifetime home as well as helping anyway that she can in her community.
