State police at Clearfield
- State police received a report about a burglary that occurred sometime between Sept. 13 and Sept. 27 in Decatur Township. During the incident, someone allegedly vandalized and also removed radiators from Caterpillar, located in the 1000 block of the Old Route 322. Anyone with information is asked to contact state police at 814-857-3800.
Lawrence Township
- Police received a report about an incident of disorderly conduct and terroristic threats that occurred Monday on Barn Road. During the incident, three known juveniles engaged in an argument with their mother and allegedly threatened a neighbor with a baseball bat. Police took one juvenile into custody; he was charged and placed in detention by Juvenile Probation.
Sandy Township
- Police responded to a false alarm Monday at National Fuel.
- Police responded to a false alarm Monday at Berry.
- On Monday police were contacted by a 37-year-old Hanes Drive resident who reported that someone spray-painted an inflammatory remark on the outside wall of her apartment building.
- On Monday police were contacted by a 41-year-old DuBois woman who reported she’d received harassing messages via social media from her ex-boyfriend and a known woman. Officers handled the situation without incident.
- Police received a report about a phone scam from a Sandy Township resident on Monday. According to police, the caller claimed to be with the Social Security office. Police would like to remind residents not to provide any personal or financial information out over the phone. Additionally, police say these calls can be reported to the SSA office online at ssa.gov.
- On Monday police were contacted by a Kilmer Road resident who reported that their 14-year-old neighbor came to their house and stated he was not being treated right at home. Officers handled the situation without incident.
- Police received an anonymous report about a domestic disturbance Monday at a Garden Grove residence. Upon arrival on-scene, officers found that a 20-year-old man and his 17-year-old girlfriend were arguing over a pencil. Officers handled the situation without incident.
- Police responded to a false alarm Monday at a Treasure Lake residence.
- On Tuesday police were contacted by Wal-Mart employees who reported two males left the store with merchandise they had not paid for. Police say the suspects were able to leave before being stopped and confronted; however, they were later identified through vehicle information. Charges are currently pending at this time.
- On Tuesday police arrested a 22-year-old Brockway man after he allegedly assaulted his 36-year-old girlfriend while they were at Wal-Mart. Witnesses told police the couple was involved in an argument, which escalated when the woman attempted to walk away. At this point, they said he pushed her to the ground, causing her to hit her head. Police say the woman was transported to Penn Highlands by ambulance; the man was transported to and housed in county jail.
