DUBOIS – Junior Achievement’s Glow Big or Glow Home 5k Run/Walk is set for Saturday, Oct. 19 in the DuBois City Park.
The Pre-party with a DJ and free glow-in-the-dark face painting will start at 6 p.m. at the park.
The Fun Run will start at 7:30 p.m., proceeding from the park to Beaver Meadow Walkway loop with fun glowing and flashing surprises along the way.
Participants are encouraged to bring a flashlight or headlamp for the darker sections of the course. They will wrap up the event with dancing at Cherry Amphitheater for the post-race celebration.
The race’s entry fee will be $20 for adults and $15 for kids, ages 6-18. Ages 5 and under are free.
Glow-in-the-dark T-shirts are available with pre-registration until Oct. 10. The first 100 to register will receive a VIP swag bag with extra glowing wearables.
