SHIPPENVILLE, Pa. – Although just a sophomore, Oliver Billotte had a night to remember for the Clearfield Bison in a 56-49 win over Penns Valley Friday.
Billotte accounted for all eight of Clearfield’s touchdowns throwing for four and rushing for four including the game-winning 1-yard sneak with 6.7 seconds with the game tied at 49. That is the reason Billotte, who was 16-for-29 passing for 324 yards while also rushing for 39 yards, is the D9Sports.com District 9 Football Player of the Week for Week One of the 2019 season.
Billotte is the second consecutive Clearfield player to win the award joining Jake Lezzer, who earned the honor in Week Zero.
Lezzer is being honored again this week as one of 15 players on the District 9 Honor Roll for Week One.
The Player of the Week and Honor Roll honors will continue through the conclusion of the regular season.
