State police at Clearfield
- State police received a report about an incident of public drunkenness that occurred Aug. 18 on Tony Hill Road in Cooper Township. During the incident, 42-year-old John Green of Winburne was allegedly intoxicated in public and resisted arrest. Charges were filed through the district court.
State police at DuBois
- State police received a report about a burglary that occurred Monday at a residence in the area of Arch Street Extension and Girl Scout Drive in Snyder Township. The investigation continues.
Clearfield Borough
- Police obtained an arrest warrant for a Dubois male following a Protection from Abuse order violation. He was apprehended by the Dubois City police and turned over to Clearfield officers. He was subsequently transported to county jail.
- Police were requested to check the welfare of a female on North Fourth Street. Upon arrival, police made contact with the female who was in need of medical assistance. Emergency personnel were summoned to the scene and transported the female to the hospital for treatment.
- Police arrested a male on several warrants after he was located inside an apartment building. He was subsequently taken to county jail.
- Police stopped a motorcycle along Weaver Street and discovered its driver had an active arrest warrant through the Clearfield County Sheriff’s Office. He was subsequently transported to county jail on the warrant.
- Lawrence Township police were assisted with a domestic assault along South Second Street.
- Police assisted emergency personnel with a male who had cut his leg along East 11th The male was transported to the hospital for treatment.
- Police responded to a noise complaint along South Fourth Street.
Lawrence Township
- Police received a report about a domestic assault that occurred Tuesday on South Second Street in Lawrence Township. During the incident, a 36-year-old Clearfield man allegedly assaulted his girlfriend, and charges of simple assault, disorderly conduct and harassment are currently pending. Police also found the woman was wanted through the Clearfield County Sheriff’s Office; both were housed in county jail following the incident.
