DUBOIS – A DuBois woman is facing a felony charge for possessing a variety of drugs and paraphernalia.
On Friday during centralized court, Christa Lee Quashnok, 25, waived her right to a preliminary hearing on a felony charge of manufacture/delivery/possession of a controlled substance with intention to deliver and a misdemeanor count of possession of drug paraphernalia.
She had been held in the Clearfield County Jail in lieu of $50,000 bail, but court records indicate her bail was lowered Friday to $50,000, unsecured and she was released.
The charges stem from an incident on Aug. 13 at Quashnok’s residence when state parole agents located the paraphernalia.
A further search of the home by officers uncovered 7.09 grams of suspected methamphetamine, two Oxycontin pills, 5.5 white Sublingual tablets and fragments of acetaminophen/Oxycodone pills, according to the affidavit.
They also reportedly found digital scales, smoking pipes, small baggies normally used for packing drugs and $275 in cash.
Her case now moves on to the Court of Common Pleas for further disposition.
