CURWENSVILLE – The Rotary Club of Curwensville welcomed Dee Holland, representing the Blueprint Community C.A.R.E., to its bi-weekly meeting on Aug. 20.
Holland informed the members about the current project in progress at Irvin Park to place accessible playground equipment at the park to enable individuals with physical disabilities to enjoy, and to create an inclusive playground, so that children of all ages and abilities can play together.
Holland explained the importance of play in human development and the growth of social skills and self-confidence. The Rotary made a donation to Curwensville Borough for the project.
