State police at Clearfield
- State police received a report about a burglary that occurred Monday at the Curwensville Moose Lodge, located on Bailor Road in Curwensville Borough. During the incident, a male allegedly removed approximately $8,000 in cash; state police do have a suspect, and charges are forthcoming. - State police received a report about an incident of criminal mischief that occurred Sunday on Empire Road in Morris Township. During the incident, someone allegedly drove a side-by-side through the victim’s yard, leaving ruts. Anyone with information is asked to contact state police at 814-857-3800.
Lawrence Township
- Police received a report about a theft that occurred Sunday on Good Street in Lawrence Township. During the incident, a 33-year-old Clearfield man allegedly took several clothing items from the saddlebags of a motorcycle. Total value of the stolen items was approximately $300, police say, adding the man was located by state police in Woodland. At that time, he was in possession of the stolen items as well as a handgun. The investigation is ongoing at this time with charges pending through both the Lawrence Township and state police.
