State police at Clearfield
- State police reported on a drug-related DUI that occurred Saturday in the 3000 block of the Morrisdale-Allport Highway in Morris Township. A 28-year-old Philipsburg man, identified as Cody Shaw, was subsequently arrested and charges were filed through the district court.
Lawrence Township
- Police received a report about a “drive-off” that occurred Monday at the Sapp Bros. Truck Stop. The investigation is continuing with charges pending against a 43-year-old Clearfield man.
DuBois City
- Police received a report about two males engaged in an argument Sunday in a parking lot in the 600 block of Liberty Boulevard. Upon arrival, officers spoke with a witness who said the males had been drinking whiskey and began to argue with each other. He said he’d tried to get them inside a vehicle, since they had a designated driver. Police say one male was “very amped up” at first, but officers calmed him down. After everything was determined to be OK, police were able to clear the scene without further incident.
- Police were contacted Sunday by a female about an incident of harassment via communication. She said she’d received multiple messages but wasn’t sure from whom. Police are continuing their investigation at this time.
