CLEARFIELD – Todd Kling was recently named Citizen of the Year at a special dinner meeting of the Clearfield Rotary Club at Moena Restaurant.
Kling was chosen for this award because of his dedicated service to his community. He’s currently chief of the Clearfield Fire Department.
He’s also been a volunteer with other local fire departments, and served on the Pennsylvania Wildland Fire Crew. He’s served as an assistant scout master of Boy Scouts Troop 9 of Clearfield.
Kling works as the department foreman for Clearfield Borough. He and his wife, Jessica, and their son, Porter are active with The Bridge Church.
“Mr. Kling is a humble man who feels that he has a civic duty to the greater Clearfield area,” expressed Cal Thomas, Rotary assistant district governor.
