LAWRENCE TOWNSHIP – A fugitive was apprehended by Lawrence Township police and lodged in the Clearfield County Jail on Thursday.
The fugitive, identified as 19-year-old Adrian Adonis Lane of Clearfield, was located at around 11:40 a.m. at a restaurant along state Route 879.
Police had been requested to assist the Virginia Beach Fugitive Unit with Lane’s location and apprehension, and he was arrested without incident.
Police say Lane is a fugitive from the commonwealth of Virginia, where he’s currently facing charges in a sexual assault case against a minor.
Following his arrest on a fugitive from justice charge, Lane was arraigned before the district court and lodged in county jail without bail pending his extradition.
