State police at Clearfield
- State police received a report about a theft that occurred Sunday in the area of Shiloh and Dale roads in Bradford Township. During the incident, someone allegedly removed a tire from a portable traffic light located at a construction site. Anyone with information is asked to contact state police at 814-857-3800.
- State police received a report about an incident of terroristic threats that occurred June 5 on Sue Street in Houtzdale Borough. During the incident, a 35-year-old Olanta man, identified as James Lockett, allegedly made threatening statements to “blow up” the Clearfield County Children & Youth Services building. However, he fled prior to the arrival of state police, and a warrant was subsequently obtained for him. Anyone with knowledge of Lockett’s whereabouts is asked to contact state police at 814-857-3800.
Lawrence Township
- Police reported on a drug-related DUI that occurred Monday at the Family Dollar Store. According to police, information was received about a male passed out at the wheel of his vehicle. Once on-scene, officers were able to wake him and administer field sobriety tests. He was taken into custody, at which point police say he provided a false name. Police were eventually able to positively identify him; he was then taken to the hospital for a legal blood draw. Later, the male was released to a sober person, and charges are currently pending at this time.
