CLEARFIELD – The Corner Concert Series will continue Friday evening with local acoustic artist Matt Day.
This week, the concert is being held in conjunction with the Clearfield Revitalization Corp.’s “Cruise the Past” event.
Music will get under way at 7 p.m. in Shaw Park on the corner of Market and Front streets in downtown Clearfield.
Corner concerts are held Friday evenings throughout summer with different artists performing each week.
The series will feature old-school hard rock and metal with HellBent June 14 and Christian rock with Not Ashamed June 21.
Local favorites, Twin Reverb, will round out the month’s musical entertainment.
The concerts are held to promote the community and local talent while also collecting donations for charity. This summer, donations are being collected for “You Are Worthy,” a women’s empowerment ministry in Clearfield.
Corner Concert T-shirts are currently available for purchase through the fundraising Web site, mynewmerch.com.
Also, custom-printed window decals will be available for purchase during the concerts each week in an effort to raise money for future expenses.
You can “like” and “share” the Corner Concert Facebook page for up-to-date information on schedule changes, rain outs or special announcements.
