RUSH TOWNSHIP – UGI Utilities Inc. will begin a natural gas main construction project in Rush Township, Centre County, the week of June 3.
The project is part of the company’s GET (Growth Extension Tariff) Gas initiative designed to extend service to residents and businesses who currently do not have access to natural gas.
The natural gas main construction project will take place on the following streets:
- Jesse Street, from High Street to the end of Jesse Street;
- Adams Street, from Kinkead Street to the end of Adams Street; and
- Collins Street, between Jesse Street and Kinkead Street.
During construction hours, residents and commuters should expect delays and parking restrictions. Traffic will be restricted to one lane.
Construction hours are scheduled from 7 a.m. to 5 p.m. Monday through Friday. Flaggers will direct traffic in the area. Construction is expected to be completed by June 21.
UGI appreciates the patience and understanding of residents, as the company completes this infrastructure expansion project.
