Even with the weather letting up in the afternoon and the sun peeking through the low clouds, the Curwensville Golden Tide received a second consecutive day of practice. After seeing their home game against Clearfield from Monday get moved to Thursday, their final road contest received the same fate.
The Tide were slated to face the West Branch Warriors on Tuesday afternoon, but the decision to postpone came in the early afternoon as rain continued to fall.
It’s not only the second straight postponed game for Curwensville, but it’s the second time the game between these two has been postponed when it was slated to be played at the West Branch High School. These two originally were to play back on April 15.
Curwensville (3-14) has their Senior Day contest on Wednesday when they host Johnsonburg, first pitch set for 4:15 p.m.
