Despite the weather letting up a bit on Monday afternoon, the intense rain that fell the night prior made field conditions unplayable at the West Branch Area High School for the scheduled game between the Curwensville Golden Tide and the West Branch Warriors.
This is the second consecutive game the Tide have been halted because of weather, as Friday’s game against Moshannon Valley suffered the same fate.
No makeup date has been announced.
Curwensville (3-5) is slated to be back on the diamond on Tuesday afternoon for a non-league game at the Punxsutawney Chucks. First pitch is slated for 4:15 p.m.
