CLEARFIELD – The 2019 K’Nex Design Challenge took place at Lock Haven University, Clearfield campus, on March 28.
There was a total of 29 teams participating, including 12 elementary teams, grades 4-5, and 17 middle school teams, grades 6-8.
The first-place elementary team was the Mighty Makers from West Branch Area School District.
The second-place elementary team was System Overload from Bald Eagle Area School District. The third-place elementary team was Ocean Motion from the Sugar Valley Rural Charter School.
The first-place middle school team was ComplX from State College Area School District.
The second-place middle school tea was The Mechanics from the Clearfield Area School District. The third-place team was K’Nex’d from State College Area School District.
