WOODLAND – The Animal Welfare Council/Allegheny Spay & Neuter Clinic is hosting its seventh annual T-shirt design contest for area youth.
If you love animals, are creative and are between the ages of 6-17 years, you can create a design that will be printed on the Animal Welfare Council T-shirts.
The theme is “Be Kind to Animals” and the contest is being done in conjunction with “Be Kind to Animals” week, which is May 5-11.
The AWC hopes that the contest will highlight this important message and educate area youth about being kind to animals.
Artwork should be on 8.5” by 11” paper and drawn in dark pencil or ink (computer generated designs are not permitted). The design will be one color and should include “Be Kind to Animals.”
Please list name, age and contact number on the back. The designs are due to the Allegheny Spay & Neuter Clinic by May 9. All entries can be mailed or dropped off at the Allegheny Spay & Neuter Clinic at 1380 Shawville Hwy., Woodland, PA 16881.
Please mark the envelope: Be Kind to Animals.
There will be four age group winners: 6-7 years, 8-9 years, 10-13 years and 14-17 years. The winners will receive an Animal Welfare Council T-shirt with their winning design printed on the back.
Please note that the AWC may have to modify or reproduce the design to fit the specifications of the T-shirt printing company.
All designs are owned by the Animal Welfare Council and cannot be reproduced.
