WOODWARD TOWNSHIP – A garage broke out in flames Tuesday morning in Woodward Township, Clearfield County.
It was investigated by the Houtzdale Fire Department and Pennsylvania State Police Fire Marshal Russell Stewart.
According to Stewart, the fire occurred at 7:30 a.m. near a coal stove in the garage, located at 68 California Rd.
“The cause of the fire is still under investigation,” Stewart said, noting, “Estimated damage [is] totaling $105,000. The owners didn’t have insurance.”
