Olivia Cutler, 22, currently residing in Clearfield Borough with her son, is seeking the nomination of Clearfield County Coroner.
“I want to be coroner to bring back integrity, compassion and education outreach to the citizens of our county,” Cutler said.
Cutler is a 2014 graduate from the Moshannon Valley Junior-Senior High School. In 2014 she continued her education at the State University of New York.
She also had the honor of studying the dissolution of the Yugoslavian War abroad in Croatia, Bosnia and Herzegovina and Montenegro.
Currently, Cutler is a student of Practical Nursing at the Clearfield County Career and Technology Center. She will graduate in July of 2019.
She has a Bachelor’s degree in anthropology, with a minor in bio medical anthropology and community health.
She is currently certified in HIV/AIDS peer counseling and to teach at home infectious disease self-testing.
Cutler would like to take a more active role within the county and to educate residents in prevention of infant/child mortality with regards to the opioid epidemic.
She also would like to provide education to the county’s senior population on fall prevention and other age-related health issues.
