State police at Clearfield
- State police conducted a traffic stop Tuesday on the Kylertown-Drifting Highway in Morris Township. Upon an interview with the driver and further investigation, there were a small amount of suspected methamphetamine and pills located in the vehicle. State police will file charges against the driver and his passenger through the district court.
Lawrence Township
- Police handled an incident of disorderly conduct Wednesday on Washington Avenue. According to the report, the caller told police she was having issues getting her Access card from her child’s father. Though this wasn’t a police matter, he voluntarily returned her card. Because of her behavior and refusal to leave afterward, she will be cited for the incident; the citation is currently pending.
Clearfield Borough
- Police are investigating a theft after clothing was allegedly removed from a locker at the Clearfield YMCA.
- Police assisted a motorist who had locked their keys inside their vehicle along North Third Street.
- Police responded to an address in East End after a mother located drug paraphernalia.
- Police were notified of a stop sign being knocked over and damaged at the intersection of Turnpike Avenue and West Market Street.
- Police arrested a female for DUI after she was stopped along South Fourth Street. She was also found to be on probation and taken to the jail for a violation.
- Police received a report about a male being disorderly and shutting off the power on Nichols Street. Police found he was suffering from mental health issues, and he was transported for an evaluation.
- Police were requested to check the welfare of residents along Daisy Street. They were found to be OK and not home at the time.
- Police responded to a report of a reckless driver in the area of West Front Street. Police located the vehicle and handled the situation on-scene.
- Police responded to a 911 hang-up call along West Market Street. Upon arrival, police found that a child had called 911 and there wasn’t any emergency.
- Police received a report about a male refusing to leave a Nichols Street residence. However, he left prior to police arrival.
