OBERLIN, Ohio — Junior Cody Spaid (Clearfield) turned in another solid all-around game for Pitt-Greensburg in a losing cause at the Oberlin Holiday Classic Saturday.
He was one of two Bobcats in double figures with 12 points, had a team-best three assists and shared rebounding honors with five in the 73-59 loss to the host Yeomen.
The 6-7 center/forward pulled down a team-high seven rebounds, was credited with four assists and scored three points as the Bobcats opened the tourney with a 74-69 win over Houghton (N.Y.) Friday.
Spaid leads Pitt-Greensburg (4-7) in rebounds (70), assists (30) and blocked shots (15) while averaging 8.2 points in his 11 starts.
He has scored 90 points, going 33-for-58 from the floor and 17-for-30 at the foul line.
