Pennsylvania Hibernators, 2 p.m.
Hibernation is an important metabolic process for some animals to survive the winter. You will learn about hibernation and what animals in Pennsylvania are true hibernators.
Dec. 30
Mathematical Antlers, 2 p.m.
How are antlers scored? What’s a true trophy bull? The staff will explain it all. You’re invited to join in the discussion of the different methods of measuring, and try your hand at measuring a few of the center’s shed antlers.

Birdfeeder Construction, 2 p.m.
Let’s make bird feeders! Who doesn’t love feathered friends!? You can visit the center to construct wooden bird feeders you can take home to enjoy.
Jan. 6
Living with Snakes, 2 p.m.
A large majority of the population is scared of snakes in one form or another. You can join KECA staff for an educational program on snakes and learn fact from myth and how to identify venomous snakes in Pennsylvania.

Paracord Survival, 2 p.m.
You can come and learn the many ways that paracord can be used in a survival situation and make your own paracord keychain.
Jan. 13
Elk Explanations, 2 p.m.
Do you have burning questions about elk? You can take part in this casual question-and-answer session where staff members share all the neat things they know about elk and answer your questions.
