BELLEFONTE – The Pennsylvania Department of Transportation (PennDOT) is advising motorists that tree cutting work is scheduled for this week on a section of Route 26 in Centre County.
Crews will be working about 1.5 miles south of the borough of Howard in Marion Township. The work is necessary for utility relocations prior to a 2019 bridge replacement over Lick Run.
Throughout the week, the tree cutting work will take place under an alternating traffic pattern enforced by flaggers in the roadway.
Drivers should remain alert for flaggers and stopped or slowed traffic. All work will be done during daylight hours and is weather dependent.
