State police at Clearfield
- State police received a report about an incident of terroristic threats that occurred Dec. 6 on Red Schoolhouse Road in Decatur Township. During the incident, a 36-year-old Bellefonte man, Jeffery Spicer, allegedly instructed his daughter to tell her mother that he planned to “bash her head and bloody her up.” Charges have been filed through the district court.
State police at DuBois
- State police received a report about an incident of criminal mischief that occurred Friday on DuBois Rockton Road in Union Township. During the incident, a known male allegedly rammed the victim’s vehicle. State police are continuing their investigation at this time.
Clearfield Borough
- Police responded to a barking dog complaint on Elm Avenue. Upon arrival, police didn’t hear anything.
- Police received a report about suspicious activity on Krebs Avenue. Upon arrival, police located a vehicle with its trunk open and numerous items were inside. Police were able to make contact with the owner who secured the items.
- Police received a report about a person slumped over the steering wheel of a vehicle along East Market Street. Upon arrival, police learned they were waiting on someone and there weren’t any signs of impairment.
- Police were requested to check the welfare of a resident who was reportedly threatening self-harm on East Eighth Street. Police found the person to be OK and not in need of any medical or mental health services.
- Police received a report about a door open at a vacant building on Cemetery Road. Upon arrival, police conducted a search and then secured it.
- Police received a report about found property on Nichols Street. Police were able to identify the owner and return the property.
- Police received a report about an unruly patient at the hospital. Upon arrival, officers were advised that the patient was currently cooperating with staff.
- Police responded to an activated medical alarm on Chester Street. Police made contact with the resident and found the alarm was set off by mistake.
- Police received a report about a female who was under the influence and refusing to leave a Reed Street residence. Upon arrival, police transported the female to a sober adult.
- Police responded to Crozier Avenue and retrieved a syringe that was located in the area.
- Police responded to an alarm along South Fourth Street. Police located an open door to a business, searched the building and secured it.
- Police received a report about a female who had intentionally taken a large dose of pills on Nichols Street. Upon arrival, police assisted emergency personnel who transported the female to the hospital for treatment.
- Police reported that a male was arrested for suspicion of DUI after he was stopped for a traffic violation. Police were assisted on-scene by a Pennsylvania State Police K-9.
Lawrence Township
- Police reported on a drug-related DUI incident that occurred Friday at Wal-Mart. According to police, a witness saw a male asleep in his vehicle that was parked on the sidewalk. They had to knock on the window to wake him. The male then drove to the other side of the parking lot. Upon arrival on-scene, police determined he was under the influence of a controlled substance. When he was being taken into custody, the male was allegedly found in possession of a large quantity of methamphetamine. He was transported to the hospital for a legal blood draw; charges are currently pending.
- Police reported on a drug violation that occurred Sunday on the Clearfield-Curwensville Highway. During a traffic stop, a 39-year-old Frenchville woman, Jennifer Roussey, was allegedly found in possession of various narcotic pills and drug paraphernalia. Charges were filed as a result.
- Police reported on an incident of DUI that occurred Saturday on Montgomery Run Road. According to police, a vehicle had exited the roadway and traveled into a resident’s front yard. Police said both the driver and his passenger had been consuming alcohol, and they saw several open beer containers inside the vehicle. The driver was asked to submit to field sobriety testing and reportedly showed signs of impairment. He was taken into custody and to the hospital for a legal blood draw. His passenger was found to be on probation with a no alcohol clause; he was housed in county jail for the violation. The driver was also housed on a 48-hour detainer with charges pending.
DuBois City
- Police responded to a report of a structure fire on Robinson Street. Upon arrival, police learned the occupants were out, and observed smoke coming from the kitchen. A firefighter conducted a search inside and located a burnt paper towel in the garbage, which caused the smoke. Police spoke with a tenant who said she’d forgotten about throwing it away and she was advised on fire prevention.
- Police were requested to contact a female about being harassed by her neighbor. She told police that she “always” has issues with her neighbor yelling while she is watching her son’s dogs. Police advised it wasn’t harassment and that she should ignore her neighbor.
