CLEARFIELD – On Monday the eighth-graders at the Clearfield Area Junior-Senior High School heard from speakers Richard Hughes, P.E. from Hughes Engineering and Benjamin Timko from 765-DECK LLC and 768-ROOF LLC, as part of the Exploring program.
Hughes discussed three different types of engineering: civil, mechanical and electrical engineering. Timko discussed his life experiences and what led him to become a business owner.
Both speakers emphasized to the students that they need to have goals and to always try to surpass them.
