WOODLAND – The Allegheny Spay & Neuter Clinic will be hosting an open house event. It will take place from 6 p.m. – 8 p.m. Tuesday, Dec. 11.
There will be door prizes, light refreshments and best of all free pictures with Santa and your pet.
Visitors will have a chance to tour the clinic and see the newly-renovated wellness wing, which includes three new exam rooms, the two existing surgery suites, lab, kennel, grooming area and pet food pantry.
As the clinic continues to grow, it’s helping so many animals both locally and in surrounding counties.
“Many of you might not realize that we transport pets – both shelter/rescue and family-owned – with our transport van on a weekly basis,” says Geremy Kephart, spokesperson.
“This enables us to reach more animals and families in need. Recently, we opened a satellite office in Centre Hall, which has spayed and neutered 7,002 animals for a combined total of close to 40,000 dogs, cats and rabbits since 2013.
“The Animal Welfare Council and the Allegheny Spay & Neuter Clinic want to [say] ‘thank you’ to our community, our friends for continuing to support our important work.”
The Allegheny Spay & Neuter Clinic is owned by the Animal Welfare Council (AWC), a non-profit organization formed in 2006 by a group of individuals who share concern and passion for animals in the community and who strive to fulfill the needs of local animals and their owners.
