State police at Clearfield
- State police received a report about an alleged domestic assault incident that occurred Tuesday on Walnut Street in Coalport Borough. As a result, Michael Snyder, 31, was arrested on charges of simple assault and harassment and Chelsea Snyder, 29, was cited for harassment.
Lawrence Township
- Police reported on a drug-related incident and warrant service that occurred Wednesday in the area of the Edgewood Apartments. While on routine patrol, officers saw two males walking near the entrance to the apartments. When contact was made, it was found Tad Polites, 33, of Clearfield had active warrants through the Clearfield County Sheriff’s Office and Domestic Relations. He was taken into custody and found in possession of suspected methamphetamine and multiple items of drug paraphernalia. Polites was lodged in county jail on the warrants with charges pending.
