LANSE – An Apple Fest will take place Saturday, from 12 p.m. – 5 p.m., at Martha’s Park in Lanse.
The event will feature food and craft vendors, kid’s activities and a Chinese auction. As well, there will be a blacksmith forge and yarn spinning.
Local Boy Scouts will be on-hand with a rope bridge set up and will make apple butter to be available for pre-sale. Apple desserts and other baked goods will also be for sale.
All proceeds will benefit the park’s upkeep and maintenance and the local Boy Scouts. The park is located at 565 Birch St., in Lanse.
