CLEARFIELD – Joseph B. Bower Jr., president and chief executive officer of CNB Bank, has announced that Chris Stott will assume the role of senior vice president/market president, with Greg Dixon taking the position of senior vice president/senior credit officer.
As CNB Bank market president, Stott will be responsible for the overall support and growth of all 20 CNB Bank office locations by growing loan and deposit accounts, developing new products, managing product pricing, as well as cultivating customer relationships.
As senior credit officer, Dixon will be responsible for overseeing the corporation’s overall credit risk program, as well as managing and supervising the collection functions for all four divisions of CNB Bank and their 42 community offices.
“Greg will be a great addition to our credit team. His experience and ability to understand our client’s needs and protect the interest of our shareholders gives us the confidence CNB needs to continue growing its commercial customer base,” Bower said.

Stott began his career with CNB Bank in 1997 as an assistant vice president/mortgage lending. In 2000, he was promoted to vice president/mortgage lending and, in 2008 was charged with leading the bank’s entire retail lending division. Most recently, Stott held the position of senior vice president/director of private banking.
A native of Houtzdale, Stott graduated from Philipsburg-Osceola Area High School in 1986 prior to attending Penn State University where he received his Bachelor of Science in accounting in 1990.
He went on to Mortgage Bankers Association School of Mortgage Banking and has taken and taught various courses from the American Institute of Banking. Additionally, Stott is a graduate of the PA Bankers Executive Leadership program.
Stott is the treasurer of the Clearfield Fireman’s Benefit Trust and a member of the Clearfield Elks B.P.O. 540. He previously served as a board member of the Salvation Army and Clearfield Community Pool.
Stott also volunteers at Clearfield Revitalization Corp. events, such as the Downtown Beautification Project, Bloom and Berry Bash and annual Fall Festival. He currently resides in Clearfield with his wife, Leslie, and daughters, Taylor and Haeley.
A native of Clearfield, Dixon joined CNB in 2003 and most recently held the position of CNB market executive. Previously he held the roles of vice president/credit administration and vice president/commercial lending.
He graduated from the Clearfield Area High School in 1995 prior to receiving his Bachelor of Science in accounting from Indiana University of Pennsylvania in 1999.
During his career with CNB, Dixon continued to expand his education in the field of banking. In April of 2009, he was recognized for achieving honor student status from the PA Bankers School of Commercial Lending at the Pennsylvania Bankers Association.
In 2015, Dixon graduated from the American Bankers Association’s Stonier Graduate School of Banking.
Dixon resides in Clearfield with his wife, Valerie, and their son, Luke. He is a member of and Eucharistic Minister for the St. Francis of Assisi Church of Clearfield.
Dixon currently serves on the board of directors for the Clearfield Municipal Authority and Clearfield Area United Way, St. Francis School Council and St. Francis Parish Finance Committee.
