Kindergarten Prep students at Little Cardinals Pre-School went on a letter hunt in the elementary foyer and hallways of DuBois Central Catholic following their language lesson based on the popular story Chicka Chicka Boom Boom by Bill Martin Jr. and John Archambault.
According to teacher Mrs. Missy Noroski, the activity proved to be a fun review of the letters of the alphabet while allowing students the freedom to investigate their surroundings.
As each letter was found, the children chanted the letter before adding it to ‘the tree.’ Noroski ended up being a walking alphabet, says Donna Kosko, teacher aide.
