CURWENSVILLE – The Rotary Club of Curwensville welcomed the 2018 scholarship recipient, Paige Bryan to the meeting on Aug. 7.
She is a 2018 graduate of the Curwensville Area High School and the daughter of Troy and Kerry Bryan. She was also accompanied by her grandmother, Pat.
Ms. Bryan will be attending West Virginia University this fall and will major in forensic investigative science.
In high school, Bryan also earned a certificate in nursing assistant at the Clearfield County Career and Technology Center.
Ms. Bryan spoke eloquently of her desire to help others and of the importance of technical training. The scholarship was presented by Bill Williams, scholarship chair of the Curwensville Club.
