At this time, it was found some occupants had exited the vehicle. The driver was allegedly found to be under the influence of controlled substances and had a suspended driver’s license. Police say while speaking with him, he was “acting nervous and sweating profusely” when several small bags of suspected methamphetamine fell out of his pants onto the ground. His mother, Kimberly Marks, was found to have an active warrant for her arrest and a restaurant employee alerted police to a female, Amber Blake, who was hiding inside in the restroom. Police also found that there was an active warrant for Blake’s arrest and that she was throwing away needles in the restroom. A K-9 was summoned to the scene and a search of the vehicle yielded multiple items of drug paraphernalia, and the driver consented to a legal blood draw. All occupants, except one, were housed in county jail, and charges are currently pending at this time.
