State police at DuBois
- State police received a report about an incident of criminal trespass/mischief that occurred between Aug. 1 and Monday on the Luthersburg-Rockton Road in Union Township. During the incident, someone allegedly gained entry by kicking in the rear exterior door, causing damage to the interior door jamb and latch. State police say that footprints were observed on the door and the investigation is continuing at this time. Anyone with information is asked to contact state police at 814-371-4652.
State police at Ridgway
- On Monday state police received a report about a domestic disturbance on Pennsylvania Avenue in James City. During the incident, a couple allegedly used physical contact against each other. Both will be cited for harassment through the district court.
Lawrence Township
- Police received a report about an incident of harassment Sunday at the Best Western Plus in Clearfield. Upon arrival, officers learned that a mother and daughter, both of whom were from New Jersey, had been involved in a verbal altercation. It allegedly turned physical when the mother scratched her daughter’s neck. She also told police that her mother had bitten her in the chest and side several times. Both were separated for the remainder of the night, and the mother will be cited for the incident. Emergency personnel also responded to the scene.
