State police at Clearfield
- State police received a report about an incident of theft/criminal mischief that occurred sometime Tuesday or Wednesday at Dave’s Laundry in Houtzdale Borough. During the incident, someone allegedly forcibly entered several dispensers and washing machines, causing damage. State police say then, they fled with an unknown amount of coins from the machines. Anyone with information is asked to contact state police at 814-857-3800.
State police at Punxsutawney
- State police received a report about an incident of theft that occurred July 29 at a Texas Road address in McCalmont Township. During the incident, someone allegedly stole a mailbox belonging to a Punxsutawney couple.
Lawrence Township
- Police received a report about an incident of theft that occurred July 28 at the Hyde Uni-Mart. During the incident, a 57-year-old Hyde man allegedly stole a cigarette lighter when he checked out at the store. He was observed on surveillance committing the theft, police said.
