Lawrence Township
- Police responded to a residence in reference to obtaining a wanted individual. Upon taking the individual into custody, he was discovered to be in possession of a controlled substance. The male was housed in the Clearfield County Jail on a felony warrant. Charges will be filed for the drug violation.
State Police at Clearfield
- Police investigated an incident of harassment by communication in Hawk Run in which the accused repeatedly made phone calls to the victim with the intent to annoy. The accused was cited for harassment.
- Police are investigating an incident of theft at a Hawk Run residence. Unknown actors stole ten mini composition books from the victim’s apartment. The actor(s) fled the scene undetected in an unknown manner of travel. Anyone with information regarding this theft is urged to contact PSP Clearfield at 857-3800.
- Police responded to an report of simple assault in Pine Township, Clearfield County. The incident occurred as the victim was driving her vehicle and the accused was the passenger. The accused was highly intoxicated and began fighting with the victim. The victim attempted to call police and the accused knocked the phone out of her hand and slapped her in the face. The victim pulled over in attempt to retrieve her phone with the accused grabbed her by her arms. The victim advised the accused that she was going to drive him to the state police barracked when she was punched in the side of the head. The victim attempted to flag other drivers down for help and eventually fled the scene. The accused was taken into custody on a bench warrant, detained in the Clearfield County Jail and charged with simple assault and harassment.
