CLEARFIELD – A Philipsburg man has been accused of distributing various drugs.
Mark Lynn Rinehart, 38, has been charged by Pennsylvania State Police with felony manufacture, delivery or possession with intent to manufacture or deliver (three counts) and conspiracy-manufacture, delivery or possession with intent to manufacture or deliver.
Rinehart has also been charged with misdemeanor intentional possession of a controlled substance (three counts) and use/possession of drug paraphernalia. His bail has been set at $100,000.
On Wednesday Rinehart waived his right to a preliminary hearing during centralized court at the Clearfield County Jail.
The charges stemmed from the execution of a search warrant at a residence, located in the 200 block of Laura Street, Philipsburg, on April 27, according to the affidavit of probable cause.
Rinehart was found to be in possession of multiple items of drug paraphernalia, including smoking devices, hoses, scales, a plastic container labeled “Tweeker Box” and packaging materials.
He was allegedly found to be in possession of 12 containers of suspected methamphetamine, 13 containers of suspected cocaine, five containers of suspected bath salts, two Suboxone strips and 12 unknown pills.
The suspected methamphetamine and cocaine were both field tested by state police and showed positive results for the drugs.
