Lisa Kovalick, a scholar of a statewide leadership program, was recently honored with a legislative citation.
Her citation was sponsored by Rep. Donna Oberlander, 63rd district, and co-sponsored by Dave Reed for her commitment to leadership development.
Kovalick dedicated her abilities as a RULE XVII Member in the Pennsylvania Rural-Urban Leadership Program (RULE), a statewide, transformative, adult two-year leadership development course, based at the Pennsylvania State University, Penn State Extension.
The Pennsylvania Rural-Urban Leadership Program encourages and fosters the development of adult community leaders from all segments of Pennsylvania.
RULE explores public issue engagement, inter-organizational networking, effective public decision making, strategic design and sustainable relationships.
RULE is a partnership between the public and private sectors with funds from individual participants, sponsoring organizations, private and public contributions, the Pennsylvania State Legislature, Penn State Extension, the Department of Community and Economic Development and the Pennsylvania State University.
