CLEARFIELD – The Clearfield County Commissioners addressed miscellaneous items of business during Tuesday’s regular meeting.
The commissioners:
- approved personnel changes, which included the new hire of Chester Hawkins, part-time Sheriff Deputy/Sheriff’s Department, effective May 14; the transfer of McKayla Myers, part-time Corrections Officer/Jail to full-time Corrections Officer/Jail, effective May 6; and the separations of Gina English, Telecommunicator/911, effective April 25, and Sergio Caltagarone, part-time, Sheriff Deputy/Sheriff’s Department, effective May 4.
- proclaimed May as Motorcycle Safety Awareness Month.
- approved a Subdivision and Land Development waiver for Bryan and Jacqueline Haag of Haag’s Feed Store in Troutville Borough.
- approved a Community Development Block Grant (CDBG) modification to Burnside Borough.
- approved a liquid fuel allocation in the amount of $3,000 to Brisbin Borough.
- approved a linkage agreement with Beacon Light Behavioral Health Systems.
- expressed sadness in the passing of PJ Patterson, who was serving as the mayor of Irvona Borough.
