Mary E. Bumbarger, 60, of Clearfield died Tuesday, May 1, 2018 at her home.
She was born Sept. 23, 1957 in Hammond, Ind., a daughter of the late Richard and Diane (Slater) Kilar.
She had most recently been employed at PMG Pennsylvania Group, Philipsburg. She had previously worked at Berg Electronics for 18 years. She was talented at Stampin’ Up, a homemade card-making hobby.
She was a member of the St. Francis Catholic Church, Clearfield. In her spare time, she enjoyed to read.
She is survived by her husband, Michael C. Bumbarger; three children, Arianne Stojkovic and her husband, Matthew of Richmond, Texas, Elizabeth Segraves and her husband, Anthony of Williamsport and Michael Bumbarger II and his wife, Kayleigh of River Ridge, La.; five grandchildren; and one ‘soon-to-be’ grandchild.
She was the oldest of three brothers and three sisters, all of whom survive, as well as many nieces and nephews.
A Mass of Christian Burial will be said at 10:30 a.m. Tuesday at the St. Francis Catholic Church, Clearfield, with Fr. Brandon M. Kleckner as celebrant.
Burial will follow in the Bigler Cemetery. Military honors will be accorded at the cemetery by the Clearfield Veterans of Foreign Wars and American Legion Honor Guard.
Friends will be received from 2 p.m. – 4 p.m. and from 6 p.m. – 8 p.m. Monday and from 9:30 a.m. – 10 a.m. Tuesday at the Kevin A. Beardsley Funeral Home.
At the funeral home Monday, the Rosary will be recited at 5:45 p.m. and the Christian Vigil service will be held at 7:45 p.m.
