N. Jane Woolridge, 73, of Bellefonte and formerly of West Decatur, went to be with the Lord on April 29, 2018 at Mount Nittany Medical Center, State College.
Born Oct. 22, 1944 in Spangler, Pa., she was the daughter of the late Peter and Anna Lucas Radomsky.
She was wed to Clayton Husted, who preceded her in death in 2015.
Surviving are her son, Daniel Clayton Husted and his wife, Courtney Lynn of West Decatur; her grandchildren, Alexander Daniel Husted and Cara Lynn Husted; and her brother, Jack Radomsky and his wife, Karen of Allport.
Along with her parents and husband, she was preceded in death by two sisters, Anna Mae Orgas and Eleanor “Norky” Pecosh.
Mrs. Woolridge was a member of the St. John’s Orthodox Church in Hawk Run. She was a member of the American Organization of Registered Nurses (AORN).
She was a 1961 graduate of the Moshannon Valley High School. She graduated from the Philipsburg Hospital School of Nursing; she was also a graduate of Penn State and became a registered nurse.
She worked at the Philipsburg Hospital and then the Clearfield Hospital as a registered nurse for 30 years. She also worked at the Mount Nittany Medical Center for 10 years.
She loved to be with family and friends as well as to travel. She loved animals and donated to a variety of animal causes. She played the piano.
Family and friends will be received from 6 p.m. – 8 p.m. Wednesday at the St. John’s Orthodox Church, Hawk Run, where a Panachida Service will be held at 7 p.m.
Family and friends will also be received from 10 a.m. – 11 a.m. Thursday at the church.
A funeral service will be celebrated at St. John’s Orthodox Church at 11 a.m. Thursday with the Rev. Peter Benyo and the Very Rev. Archpriest John Reeves. Burial will be at the church cemetery.
